Summary

Amends the:

Australian Energy Market Act 2004
to provide for a national regime in relation to gas pipeline infrastructure, including national regulatory and rule-making bodies (the Australian Energy Regulator and the Australian Energy Market Commission, respectively); and
Administrative Decisions (Judicial Review) Act 1977
to provide for judicial review of decisions under the new national gas regime. Also makes consequential amendments to the
Trade Practices Act 1974

Petroleum (Submerged Lands) Act 1967
,
Offshore Petroleum Act 2006
and
Offshore Petroleum (Repeals and Consequential Amendments) Act 2006
and repeals the
Gas Pipelines Access (Commonwealth) Act 1998
